They nearly never stopped. Although the venue was not the ideal one, the band was energetic, the crowd was energetic too and the sound was precise and clear.

Having never seen them live I half expected them to play tour with a rhythm guitar. Who were astounding. But as for a review of the band Russian Circles playing live; They are on point with everything musically, even with improvising live. In 2011, Russian Circles signed to Sargent House who had previously only exclusively released the band's albums on limited edition vinyl. They flow seamlessly from beautiful soft ambience to truly defined melody to massively thick heaviness with a gradual progression that never leaves you lost. The opening act (Windhand) was surprisingly good.GREAT show, great band and great venue. Not a boring moment. I'll admit I did this at one point myself. What a joy.This was an amazing show! Hearing Mladek and 309 live was a high point of my concert going experience (Empros is my favorite record, so I may be partial).

A longer set would give the band a chance to have a more dynamic flow of their evening of music to have a longer continual line of thought play out both on stage and in my (the listeners) mind. I would definitely recommend to see Russian circles live Great vibes.
